I Got Dem Ol' Kozmic Blues Again Mama!

I Got Dem Ol' Kozmic Blues Again Mama! from 1969, was Janis Joplin's first solo album after she was with Big Brother & the Holding Company. Blues rock songs "Try (Just a Little Bit Harder)", "Maybe", "Little Girl Blue", "Work Me, Lord" and many others, all with great vocals by Janis Joplin.

Big Brother & the Holding Company - Live at Winterland '68

Live at Winterland '68

This is a very energetic live 1968 album of psychedelic and blues rock with Janis Joplin as lead singer on songs. Recorded at Winterland in San Francisco, the songs include "Down on Me", "I Need a Man to Love", "Combination of the Two", "Piece of My Heart", "Ball and Chain", "Down on Me" and many others, all with strong vocals from Janis Joplin. I also like their Cheap Thrills album.

Big Brother & the Holding Company - Cheap Thrills

Cheap Thrills

This 1968 album of psychedelic and blues rock is one of the best from the 60s era, with Janis Joplin as lead singer on songs. Songs include "Combination of the Two", "I Need a Man to Love", "Summertime", "Piece of My Heart", "Turtle Blues", "Oh, Sweet Mary", and "Ball and Chain". Extra songs on the 1999 edition are "Roadblock", "Flower in the Sun", "Catch Me Daddy" (Live), and "Magic of Love" (Live). I also like their Live at Winterland '68 album.
